What is Past Continuous Tense in hindi
Past Continuous Tense मे ऐसे काम जो भूतकाल मे जारी होते है और वो अभी भी भूतकाल मे ही होते है Past continuous टेन्स के अंदर आते है |
Example :
He was going to market .
Ramesh was singing a song .
She was writing a letter.

Past Continuous Tense के वाक्यों मे कार्यों का जारी रहना भूतकाल को दर्शाता है ,इस तरह के वाक्यों का अंग्रेजी अनुवाद करने के लिए sentence structure का use किया जाता है |
Subject + was /were + v1st +ing + object .
Note : Verb की पहली फोरम मे ing लगाने के बाद v की 4 फोरम बनती है , was का प्रयोग singular subject के साथ किया जाता है , जबकि were का प्रयोग plural सब्जेक्ट के साथ किया जाता है |

Past continuous tense के
अंदर भी इसके प्रकार होते है

इसका प्रयोग बहुत ध्यान के
साथ किया जाता है , इसके
प्रकारों मे सकारात्मक वाक्य
, नकारात्मक
वाक्य , और
सवाल पूछने वाले वाक्य होते
है जिनमे इसके नियमानुसार
प्रयोग कर इसके प्रयोग किया
जाता है

Past Negetive Continuous Sentence in hindi
Past Negetive Continuous Tense , Past Continuous Tense का ही एक प्रकार है , जिसका structure कुछ इस प्रकार बनाया जाता है :
Subject + was/were+ not+ v4 + object .
Note : इसमे पहले सब्जेक्ट का उसे किया जाता है , फिर हेल्पिंग वर्ब का प्रयोग किया जाता है , उसके बाद वर्ब की चौथी फोरम यानि की ing वाली फोरम लगा दी जाती है और आखिर मे ऑब्जेक्ट का प्रयोग किया जाता है जैसे की:
He was not playing .
They were smoking .
I was not reading .
Sita was not cooking.
We were not dancing .
Past interrogative Continuous Sentense in hindi
Past Interrogative Continuous Sentences भी Past कन्टिन्यूअस टेन्स का ही के हिस्सा है , जिसका स्ट्रक्चर कुछ इस प्रकार है :
Was /were+ Subject + v4+ object ?
इस प्रकार के वाक्यों मे हमे पहले हेल्पिंग वर्ब देखने को मिलती है , और उसके बाद मे सब्जेक्ट लगते है , और उसके बाद मे वर्ब की ing फोरम लगते है , और आखिर मे ऑब्जेक्ट लगाकर प्रशचं वाचक चिह्न लगा देते है | इसके कुछ example इस प्रकार है :
Was he playing ?
Were They smoking ?
Was I reading ?
Was Sita cooking ?
Were we dancing ?
Past Interrogative -Negetive Sentences in hindi
Past Interrogative – Negetive Sentences मे हम पहले हेल्पिंग वर्ब के रूप मे was या were का उसे करते है उसके बाद मे हम सब्जेक्ट का प्रयोग करते है फिर not का प्रयोग करते है उसके बाद मे v 4 फोरम का प्रयोग करते है और आखिर मे ऑब्जेक्ट लगाकर प्रशचं वाचक चिह्न का प्रयोग करते है इसके स्ट्रक्चर कुछ इस प्रकार का है :
Was /were + subject + not + v4 + object ?
Wasn’t /weren’t + Subject + v4+ object ?
Examples :
Was he not going to market?
Wasn’t he going to market ?
Were they not playing cards?
Weren’t they playing cards?
Uses of Past Continuous Tense in hindi
1. ऐसे काम जो की Past Time मे लगातार जारी रहते थे , वहा past कन्टिन्यूअस टेन्स का प्रयोग किया जाता है |
example :
He was playing a cricket .
There were watching T.V .
She was swimming in the river .
Rahim was repairing the car .
2. ऐसे का जो व्यक्ति past मे आदतन और frequently कर रहा था , ऐसे वाक्यों मे always , continually , constantly , जैसे adverb का प्रयोग किया जाता है , जैसे की :
He was always absuing ,
She was constantly crying theose days.
There were continually threatening us .
She was always grumbling .
3. ऐसी कन्डिशन मे भी Past Continuous का प्रयोग किया जाता है , जब कोई दूसरी घटना घटित हुई हो , और कोई कार्य भी जारी रहा हो |
When he arrived, His wife washing her clothes.
They boy was knocked down by a car, while he was crossing the road.
Where were you living , when the was broke out ?
The sun was just setting as they reached the hill.
4. एक साथ दो काम होते रहने की कन्डिशन मे भी Past कन्टिन्यूअस टेसे का प्रयोग किया जाता है जैसे की :
While she was cooking , I was washing the clothes.
While I was singing , Ramesh was reading .
While They were playing , I was watching T.V.
While he was reading , Sita was playing.
